Appliances
- All units will include General Electric (or
equivalent) dishwasher, range, refrigerator, and stacked
washer/dryer. An upgrade to stainless steel appliances
is available at a cost of $1,000.00 to be paid in full
before closing and is non-refundable.
Cabinetry and Vanities
- Kitchens will have custom solid wood cabinets
and laminate countertops from the builder’s
selection. Granite countertops can be purchased for
an additional $2,700.00 to be paid in full before
closing and is non-refundable.
- Bathrooms will have solid wood vanities with
laminate countertops and a drop-in sink. Vanities
and tops are buyer’s choice from the builder’s
selection. There are four choices of laminate countertops or a one-piece white acrylic.
An upgrade to granite vanity tops can be purchased
at a cost of $600.00 per vanity top to be paid in
full before closing and is non-refundable.
Flooring
- Bedrooms, living room, dining room and
kitchen will have vinyl tiles or carpeting.
Buyers have the option of pre-finished
hardwood flooring throughout for an
additional $5.50 per square foot or polished
concrete in several color choices for an
additional $3.00 per square foot.
- Kitchens may also be upgraded
to ceramic tiles for an additional $5.50 per
square foot.
- Bathrooms will have ceramic tiles.
- All floors will be buyer’s choice from
the builder’s selection.
Interior
- Columbia Towers units all have
twelve foot ceiling heights.
- The main entrance of Columbia Towers
will include a monitored lobby and
an elevator.
- All condominiums will be handicap
adaptable.
- All new energy efficient windows
will be installed.
- Central gas heat will be provided
and is included in the common charges.
- Air conditioning is included in
electric charges per unit paid by owner.
- 150 amp electric service will be
provided with individual meters.
- Full sprinkler fire protection is
included.
Exterior
- This historic building will be
restored to its original appearance.
- Landscaping to be provided as
per plan with benches and security
lighting.
- There are three separate
entrances for your convenience.
Parking and Security
- Columbia Towers will have a gated parking
lot for residents only, and each owner will have a remote control
device for access. The parking lot is further
secured by a nine-foot perimeter fence. There
are three entrances to the building.
- There will be a new main entry lobby with a
security desk, as well as two additional
entrances.
- Ample handicapped spaces will be available.
- The perimeter of the parking lot will be
fenced in and there will be direct access to
the lobby.

Features
- Columbia Towers is
conveniently located within
minutes of Route 25,
I–95, and the train station.
- Bridgeport Hospital,
restaurants, banking, and
shopping are all within walking
distance.
- Harding High School and Hall
School (K – 6) are also within
walking distance.
Transportation
- Two bus stops served by Greater Bridgeport transit
are located adjacent to Columbia Towers.
- Buses depart from the stops every 30 minutes on
weekdays and Saturdays and hourly on Sundays.
- Bus service provides access to GBT's new bus
terminal in downtown Bridgeport and connections to local
and interregional bus services as well as Metro North
and Shoreline East rail services.
